I've been an OT for over 20 years and am board certified in pediatrics.  I am also a Registered Nurse.  If you ask me where "home" is I'll say Washington, DC because I grew up there and lived there for over 20 years.  However in the past 20+ years my husband and I have moved 14 times so "home" is a relative term.  My husband and I have 3 teenagers who keep us very busy.  In my free time I love to hike, ski, snowshoe, backpack, camp, bake, and read.

As a speech therapist, I love working with school-aged children in need of intervention that addresses the underlying executive functioning deficits that inhibit their ability to acquire and use language --both socially and academically. Many of my children have been self-aware of their deficits and have a desire to make friends but do not have the proper tools in place. By providing quality language therapy and focusing on some of their personal goals in treatment, I have the unique opportunity to provide children with the language skills needed to make friends, establish positive social relationships in their daily lives, and increase their chances for success.
